Bols Genever is the award-winning 1820 Dutch recipe for Holland’s favorite spirit category, Genever. The historic recipe is a rich, full-bodied spirit made of a precious whisky-like triple distillate of rye, wheat and corn; what the Dutch call malt wine, blended with a botanical and juniper berry distillate, resulting in a wonderfully balanced, sippable spirit. Many classic cocktails called for Genever in their original incarnations, and while Bols' interpretation is weighty enough to please the palate straight, it's still extremely cocktail-friendly. Miles away from London Dry, this is a gin for whiskey drinkers.
