Dante Robino was born in 1885 in Canelli, a small town in northwest Italy's Piemonte Region. After learning the art of winemaking from his family, he immigrated to Argentina in 1920 and established his own winery. In 1982, the Squassini family bought the property and updated the facilities. However, despite the modern technology, the family has kept the traditional methods of Dante Robino alive.
The Novecento Malbec is a deep, intense red with tints of purple. Ripe, juicy flavors of blackberries, cherries, and plums lead to notes of exotic spice on the finish. It's an ideal wine for grilled red meat and spicy pasta dishes.
