Established in 2007 by Avery and Janet Glasser, Bittermens, Inc. is one of the largest producers of high quality artisanal cocktail bitters and intriguing flavoring extracts. They recently joined forces with long-time friend Mayur Subbarao, a skilled producer of vermouth and cordials, and expanded their company to include Bittermens Spirits, Inc. Their first release is a line of distinctive, full-flavored liqueurs, adorned with the colorful illustrations of Ipomee-Dwam.

Bittermens Commonwealth Liqueur is meant to be combined with club soda to create a more flavorful tonic water. Bittermens recommends combining a half-ounce of Commonwealth, an ounce and a half of your favorite London Dry Gin, and 5 - 6 ounces of soda water to make the perfect gin and tonic. This liqueur is naturally cloudy and may separate during storage - shake well before use.
