The recipe for this interesting cocktail was published in 1948 in The Fine Art of Mixing Drinks by David A. Embury. The vermouth and the fruit juices appear first on the palate, but quickly give way to the gin and anisette which linger through the finish. Light, flavorful and complex, Beaux Arts makes an excellent aperitif. Save a dollar when you buy these ingredients together!

Beaux Arts

1 Part Noilly Pratt Dry Vermouth
1 Part Casa Martelletti Vermouth
1 Part Orange & Pineapple Juice (half & half)*
6 Parts Greylock Gin
1 Dash Meletti Anisette

Shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.
