The Bassermann-Jordan family has been involved in wine production for almost 300 years and today their name is practically synonymous with high quality German wines. Their vineyards in Forst, Deidesheim and Ruppertsberg consist of 49 hectares that are spread throughout 20 different locations, and each one is cultivated manually in order to preserve the original character of the grapes. The winery is also utilizing environmentally friendly farming practices, but are looking to incorporate fully organic methods of cultivation in the future.

A refreshing, off-dry white, Bassermann-Jordan Riesling Feinherb opens with bright aromas and flavors of apple, pear and citrus fruit. Balanced acidity is complemented by bracing minerality that lingers through the surprisingly dry finish.
