Barrell Batch #001 Cask Strength American Whiskey is a blend of seven and eight year old whiskies aged in ex-bourbon barrels. The mashbill consists of corn, rye and malted barley. Distilled in Indiana and aged in Kentucky, Barrell American Whiskey is bottled at full barrel strength without any artificial color or additives. They perform a simple filtering through a fine screen filter to remove the pieces of charcoal and other sediments to preserve all the goodness.
Golden Yellow in color, the Barrell Cask Strength American Whiskey offers aromas of sweet tobacco, bittersweet chocolate nibs, crushed persimmon and fresh cur herbs. The warm and elegant palate offers notes of slow cooked stone fruit, minced pipe tobacco, rye bread and malt, leading to a long finish with subtle notes of lightly toasted hazelnut brittle and raw honey simple syrup.
