The Barnard Griffin Winery is located in the heart of Washington State's wine country, at the confluence of the Yakima, Columbia, and Snake rivers. Founded in 1983 by Rob Griffin and Deborah Barnard, the winery has been producing award-winning wines for over 30 years. A smooth, approachable red, Barnard Griffin Cabernet-Merlot has been aged in both French and American oak, lending hints of dried fruit and spicy vanilla to a nose of raspberry, rose petal and cherry. The medium bodied, fruit-forward palate offers vibrant notes of plum, cherry and orange which are complemented by a touch of white pepper on the finish.
