Founded in 1958, the Produttori del Barbaresco was originally formed by nineteen small growers who banded together so their businesses could survive the tough economy. It now has 56 members and 250 acres of Nebbiolo vineyards in the heart of the Barbaresco appellation, and each family fully controls their own land.

Aged for 36 months in oak casks, this complex, age-worthy Barbaresco offers enticing aromas of cherry and menthol complemented by a light floral note. The palate is full bodied and powerful with intense ripe fruit, bold tannins and a long, balanced finish. Although this wine will benefit from cellaring, it is certainly enjoyable now. Try pairing with pasta, red meat, venison and cheese.
