The A. Edmond Dupuy & Co distillery was established in 1852, but bought by Norwegian immigrant Thomas Bache-Gabrielson in 1905, who decided to keep its Cognac tradition. Today, the company is owned and operated by his great grandson Herve, and their high quality cognacs are produced under the watchful eye of the experienced cellar master, Jean-Philippe Bergier.

During prohibition in Norway, the Norwegian politicians decided that they still needed to have their Bache Cognac, so they allowed sales of 3 Kors at pharmacies. The cross was the symbol of the pharmacy, so instead of being a three star cognac, it became known as a three cross cognac. This cognac is a harmonious blend of eaux-de-vie from Fine Champagne, Fins Bois and Bons Bois. Each component has been aged in French Limousin oak casks for 2.5 years to 10 years and then expertly blended together to create a smooth, full-flavored spirit with a bright, fruit-forward nose and a rounded, mellow palate.
