When Australian settlers arrived in Langhorne Creek in the 1800's, they planted grape vines that have flourished since. A road exactly 9 miles long now runs through the valley of Langhorne Creek, which thanks to those settlers, has become one of Australia's premier wine growing regions.
This selected vintage from 9 Mile Road winery is full-bodied and flavorful. Deep purple in color, it has lifted aromatics of Bing cherries and mulberries, flavors of blackberries with a touch of mocha, and a finish with soft, polished tannins. Although this wine will improve for 4 to 5 years, it can be enjoyed now.
